Radio Airbourne is a radio station set up to cover Airbourne,
Eastbourne's air show which runs between August 14th and 17th.

Radio Airbourne is run by a group of several local broadcasters
for
Eastbourne Borough Council, who have a combined experience of

When is Radio Airbourne broadcasting?
Radio Airbourne is on air from Monday 11th August until Sunday
17th August. The station starts three days before the show to
provide a good introduction about the four days ahead.
How can I listen to Radio Airbourne and
get in touch?
Radio Airbourne is broadcasting on 87.7fm to the Eastbourne area.
Depending on the weather and atmospheric conditions, you may
be able to hear us from further afield. In previous years, because
of
the good conditions, we have been able to reach Bexhill, Seaford
and Hailsham (maybe even further, let us know where you are
listening as we'd love to hear).
We are also broadcasting on the internet from this website.

Is there any way I can listen to the commentaries?
Yes - As in previous years, Radio Airbourne will be broadcasting
relevant commentaries where available, such as the Red Arrows.
These are provided to us by Eastbourne Borough Council's
commentary system so we are unable to control the content
of these. All flying displays, unless notified, are covered in
these
commentaries so it is very unlikely you will miss anything.
Just tune in to 87.7fm on your portable or car stereo and you
will
be able to listen to the commentary when you are out of range
of
the tannoy that surrounds the exhibition area, arena and the beach.
